PSN Services - Mobile Voice and Data Services
£2.5m of savings delivered with aggregated further competition for Mobile Voice and Data Services.
We have recently completed an aggregated national further competition for Mobile Voice and Data Services under lot 6 of the PSN Services framework agreement.
As part of the procurement, we aggregated the common Mobile Voice and Data requirements of 33 diverse public sector customers, amounting to over 22,000 connections. We sought a flexible 3-year deal that allowed customers to migrate their current mobile estate onto the new terms during the first two years of the agreement, thereby co-terminating each customer’s estate and creating the opportunity for an easier re-procurement in future.
Additionally, we applied innovative terms in order to entice the best possible price from bidders during a competitive eAuction. As a result, customers who concluded their call-off contracts by the deadline have (on average) achieved 50% savings on current spend, amounting to an aggregated saving of £2.5m during the 3-year initial term.
We are now starting the process for a second aggregated national Mobile Voice and Data procurement under PSN Services; and are seeking interest from potential customers.
To participate in the new procurement, you must have a requirement for Mobile Voice and Data services and be able to receive services from any of the mobile network providers detailed within lot 6 of the of the framework. You will also need to commit to receiving services from the winning bidder.
