London Overground passengers have given the service 93 per cent in an independent satisfaction survey - the highest score of any franchise or concession in the UK.
In the autumn 2012 poll by rail watchdog Passenger Focus, the network scored well above the London and South East average of 85 per cent.
Eighty-eight per cent of people were satisfied with punctuality and reliability, and 87 per cent with station facilities.
'We are always striving to improve services for our customers and it's great to see that reflected in these survey results,' said Transport for London's Chief Operating Officer for Rail, Howard Smith.
'We are not complacent, which is why we are planning to introduce five-car trains during the next two years to continue to meet the increasing demand for rail services in the Capital.'
