Telecoms Expense Management Service (RM1014)

We are exploring options for a Telecoms Expense Management Service (TEM). This service is intended to assist us in broadening telecoms related savings for the UK public sector through a TEM managed service.

The service will be required to cover voice and data services for fixed and wireless technologies and a variety of TEM functions may be required:

  • Inventory Management and Optimisation – asset management, tracking and disposal, identifies unused and under-used assets, and reconciles billing with inventory and with optimal tariffs.
  • Invoice Management – centralised receipt, processing and management of invoices, including conversion of bills to electronic media and process automation, to reduce the costs of manually processing paper bills, avoid data entry errors and streamline processing time. Potentially this could also include the settlement of invoices on the customers' behalf.
