New data collection system for NCMP available

Local authorities responsible for the National Child Measurement Programme can now use a new secure data collection tool.

Collecting data for the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) is now a statutory public health function of local authorities.

To support local authorities running the programme, the Health & Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) has upgraded the Excel-based data collection tool used in previous years for validating and submitting NCMP data.

The new system is now available for use in the 2013 to 2014 school year.
