These terms of reference give details about Ofsted’s independent review of artificial intelligence (AI) in education including:
- what the review will do
- the questions we will ask
- our approach
The review will summarise the background literature and collect data from schools and further education colleges to investigate how AI is currently being used in the sector. This will allow us to highlight barriers to access, challenges in effective AI use and potential benefits.
