Details

The strategy sets out a cross-government approach to revitalising town centres, centred on economic growth, reducing vacancy, supporting businesses, improving public safety, strengthening local leadership, and ensuring public assets work in support of thriving high streets.

The body of the strategy sets out the key policy measures being implemented to achieve these aims. This includes contributions from other government departments and refers to case studies that highlight best practice.

This strategy is backed by a £210 million Community Assets Package.
