Venue: Hallam Conference Centre
44 Hallam Street
Date: 2 Apr 2014
Synopsis: This conference looks at monitoring and improving the quality and outcomes of Telehealth and Telecare services with a particular focus on developing quality measures and metrics.
“In the new NHS and social care landscape, we need to find new approaches and service delivery models that will deliver more efficient and effective care. We need better health outcomes and innovations that support people to live more independently, and we know that technology enabled care services can transform peoples’ lives. The challenge we face now is integrating these technologies into the NHS and wider health and social care services, so they become a mainstream service, not a side-line proposition.“ Rachel Cashman, Head of Collaboration for Excellence, NHS England The conference will look at the role of assistive technologies in delivering integrated care and how we can measure and monitor the quality of these services including patient safety, patient experience and outcomes. The event will also look at commissioning for better outcomes in telehealth and telecare services, delivering innovation and the role of telehealth and telecare in delivering the 7 day health service.
