Synopsis: This conference focuses on improving nutrition and hydration on the wards with a focus on eliminating harm from malnutrition in hospital and developing a zero tolerance approach.
Details:
Sessions will cover monitoring progress against the NICE quality standard, improving nutrition and hydration in hospital, meeting the CQC standards and learning from inspections, delivering a framework to reduce malnutrition among older people as recommended by the Francis Inquiry, delivering zero tolerance of harm from malnutrition, practical case studies of improvement and a final focus on working with the community and a focus on vulnerable adults and malnutrition as a safeguarding issue.
