Synopsis: The updated Guidelines on Psychosis and Schizophrenia in Adults were released by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence on the 12th February 2014.
The Chief Executive of Rethink said of the updated guidelines “We hope this new guideline heralds a significant shift in how people experiencing psychosis and schizophrenia and their families will be supported. Its emphasis on recovery, rather than just reducing symptoms, is what matters to patients and their families.”

Chaired by Professor Elizabeth Kuipers Professor of Clinical Psychology Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London and Chair NICE Guideline Development Group, this conference will update delegates on the new 2014 NICE Guidelines for Psychosis and Schizophrenia and through national updates, case studies and extended sessions will support you to effectively implement the guidelines to improve care in your service.
