Synopsis: Meeting the complex needs of your patients in Pre operative assessment, recognising multiple comorbidities, identifying action plan of care and optimisation?
This study day will look at the key factors required in pre operative assessment with particular emphasis on venous thromboembolism risk assessment and bridging therapy for those patients considered high risk of thromboembolism.
This training day will consider the opportunity in POA to complete the venous thromboembolism risk assessment and will look at bridging therapy prior to surgery.
