Synopsis: This course will explore the policy context of integrated care services and identify solutions to the challenges enabling the development of an effective integrated care strategy.

Details:

Integrated Care Services has been put at the centre of NHS reform, delivering on this agenda raises significant challenges for commissioners and clinicians. Health care personnel involved in delivering integrated services need to work together in order to meet the needs of patients.

This course looks at some of those challenges and potential solutions, learning from experiences of the past, understanding the need to adopt integrated care and the policy context, existing barriers to integrated care, exploring how integrated care services can be supported, incentivising integrated care, developing an integrated care strategy and measuring success.
