“We are only at the start of a journey when it comes to dementia care: as a society we have ignored the condition for much too long – and unless we get better at recognising and caring for people with dementia we will have failed the million people who will have the condition in England by the end of the decade.” Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health, 28th May 2014
Through expert sessions, case studies and the experiences of those with dementia and their carers this conference focuses on delivering quality outcomes for people with dementia: driving improvements in health and care.
