Synopsis: Healthcare professionals of all levels need to have an understanding of the legal and ethical framework that surrounds the care and treatment of patients who are nearing the end of the their lives.

Details:

This understanding should include the use of DNACPR orders, the implications of withholding and withdrawing life sustaining treatment, advance decisions and the role of the Court of Protection.
