Public Sector Event

National PROMs Summit 2014

Venue: Hallam Conference Centre
44 Hallam Street
London
W1W 6JJ

Date: 3 Dec 2014

Synopsis: Chaired by Prof Nick Black, Chair of the National Advisory Group on Clinical Audit and Enquiries at NHS England this conference combines practical presentations with masterclasses to ensure hands on interactive learning which will continue when you return to your organisation.

Details:

The day will discuss using condition specific PROMs (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) to follow up patients by calculating their MCID (Minimum clinically important Difference) and PASS (Patient Acceptable Symptom State) Virtual Clinics can remove the need for post procedure follow up face to face appointments in the vast majority of patients. Technology here is an enabler, as Jeremy Hunt said, it is a ‘means to an end and not an end in itself’

Following the success of 2013, this year the national PROMs summit invited free papers. This session had to be expanded with the high number of excellent submissions that were submitted. While the national leaders will be present, we are proud to feature PROMs work from around the country.
