Delirium: Implementing The New NICE Quality Standard

Synopsis: On July 24th 2014, NICE published the New Quality Standard for Delirium to assist health and social care drive-up the quality of delirium management in hospital and care home settings. The standards cover: assessment; prevention; use of antipsychotic medication; communicating the diagnosis; information and support to those who have delirium and their carers. This timely conference will focus on the new Quality Standard and how to implement the standard in practice in your service.

The conference aims, through policy updates, case studies and extended sessions to share best evidence and good practice in the assessment and management delirium.
