The first part of the course will ensure that your knowledge of your role and responsibilities as an expert witness is up to date. We will then focus on written skills, including ensuring that your reports are objective, reasoned and well-presented. Feedback will be offered on your written reports, including presentation and writing style. The second day focuses on courtroom skills and will provide you with detailed knowledge of the procedures for giving evidence and how you can best prepare. The course offers you the opportunity to practice your courtroom skills and provides support and feedback to enable you to improve your performance and successfully handle cross-examination.
