Secondary Curriculum Conference & Exhibition
Friday 11th November 2016 – Central London
Secondary Curriculum 2016 is a large-scale Conference and Exhibition designed to support schools and teaching teams through the continuing changes to the National Curriculum at secondary level.
Featuring strategic updates and practical case studies from a range of innovative secondary education providers, attendees will take away strategies for enhancing the curriculum to meet the reforms and ensure that students are prepared to achieve their full potential under the new grading and examination system.
Following significant reforms to GCSE content and format, as well as wider accountability changes, this comprehensive event explores how best to deliver the curriculum within a robust framework of assessment.
With the first reformed examinations in maths, English language and English literature to be taken in summer 2017 and with the first teaching having started this year for the sciences, schools need to ensure they are equipped with the strategic and practical knowledge needed to deliver the best curriculum provision for students.
Following morning keynote plenary sessions, delegates will choose from four specialist streams of tailored content:
- Stream 1 - Performance, Assessment and Accountability
- Stream 2 - Secondary English
- Stream 3 - Secondary Mathematics
- Stream 4 - Secondary Science
