Safeguarding Children Conference
Thursday, 24th November 2016 - Cardiff
Capita’s Safeguarding Children Conference is perfectly timed to update you on the policies and requirements for improving the wellbeing of children who need care and support and to give you the opportunity to gain insight into strategies for progressing services to prevent neglect and harm.
With the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 having come into force in April this year, this event gives you the opportunity to hear about the regulations and statutory guidance and to ensure that you are equipped with the knowledge of procedures and protocols for tackling neglect, child sexual abuse and keeping children safe online.
Key topics include:
- Learning how to improve services through multi-agency working and defining shared protocols
- Analysing the importance of shared protocols and procedures
- Understanding the different types and levels of neglect and best practice for responding to cases
- Examining opportunities of intervention as part of improving the support for children
Attend this conference to learn about improving safeguarding services, identifying shared protocols and ways to work together in order to provide better protection, care and support for children.
