Synopsis: Capita Conferences announce details of their Pupil Premium Conference – Thursday 27th April 2017, London
Details:
Our national Pupil Premium Conference showcases a range of best practice case studies, offering transferrable learning on how to effectively utilise funding to narrow the attainment gap and ensure successful outcomes for learners.
In light of the November 2016 Social Mobility Commission Report suggesting more could be done in education to break the links between social demography, income and educational destiny, this event focuses on driving the progression of disadvantaged learners and transcending socio-economic barriers to academic achievement.
Bringing together primary and secondary schools and pupil referral units commended for their pupil premium strategies, key topics covered include:
- Employing effective classroom strategies to raise the abilities of disadvantaged pupils
- Tracking the progress of pupil premium students and evidencing the effect of funding to Ofsted
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), English as an additional language (EAL) and complex needs
- Developing a holistic approach to pupil premium spending and embarking on projects which improve the mental health and general wellbeing of disadvantaged students
Book now to receive guidance from leading schools and assistance in formulating an action plan to maximise the impact of your pupil premium spending.
