But those projects often don’t get the attention they deserve.
At this event, the first in a series of monthly meet-ups, four speakers will present their data projects in an exciting, quickfire format. Each speaker will have 8 minutes, followed by 8 minutes of questions from the audience.
In April, we’ll be hearing from:
- • Louisa Nolan, Lead Data Scientist at the ONS Data Science Campus, discussing faster indicators of economic activity
- • Representative from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, discussing data in housing and land
- • David Divitt, Vice President, Financial Crime Product Management, Vocalink, a Mastercard company
- • Final speaker to be confirmed.
This event will be chaired by Gavin Freeguard, Programme Director and Head of Data and Transparency, at the Institute for Government.
