Public Sector Event

Making The Best Use Of The NHS Friends And Family Test Masterclass

Venue: Hallam Conference Centre
44 Hallam Street
London
W1W 6JJ

Date: 5 Feb 2014

Synopsis: This masterclass provides a thorough overview of the Friends and Family Test, from its origins and rationale, through data collection methods, reporting and its use in change management.

Details:
Facilitated by Tim Benson Director, Routine Health Outcomes, this master class is organised in four sections: first on the background to the FFT, second on how best to organise data collection in different sectors, third on results reporting and finally on using these to track changes and drive improvement. The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is now the single most important measure of how the NHS is doing. Announced and driven forward by David Cameron personally, it is being rolled out across the whole of the health and social care sectors by 2015. It is tied to national CQUIN and Quality Premium payments. The course is forward-looking at the challenges of using the FFT beyond inpatients and A+E, where it started off, into general practice, outpatients, community, domiciliary and social care.
