As Local Authorities support and shape their communities’ future, pressing issues are arising, and in some cases, taking precedence. Local planning is becoming more focused on levelling up and regeneration, and strengthening social safety nets for the most vulnerable is more important than ever. Furthermore, a demonstrable environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy has become critical in ensuring long-term viability and resilience.

This year’s Cadcorp Local Government Conference will explore a proactive approach to addressing these emergent priorities and their effect on public sector activities. This will include examining how the increased opportunity for cloud migration is allowing Local Government to benefit from the next generation of GIS technology and the latest spatial data products and services.
