Synopsis: The conference opens with the evidence and national policy developments to support the move to 7 day health services and will continue with sessions focusing on the practicalities of changing to 7 day health services including delivering national clinical quality standards 7 days a week and the challenging issue of implementing the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges standards on 7 day consultant present care . It continues with case studies from organisations that are already delivering whole systems 7 day health and social care services, and practical sessions on provider and service models, ensuring support services are in place, employment law and contracts, commissioning 7 day services and delivering 7 day social care services.
